Flag Air Quality Advisory

The "Woodside" wildfire (151.5 acres | 90% containment) in Sonoma County near Salt Point State Park on the coast and the "Feliz" wildfire in southern Mendocino County, northwest of Hopland (872 acres | 90% containment) have significantly reduced their smoke production & air quality impacts. The Sonoma County Air Quality Index (AQI) is "Good." However, there are substantive wildfires underway in the NW US states. Wildfire, smoke, & weather conditions are very dynamic. Frequently check the AQI near you at: fire.airnow.gov.

At the Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District (NoSoCo Air), we’re responsible for regulating the air quality in our region. In Northern Sonoma you may be eligible for an exemption from biennial smog testing. Apply by email to the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
